I began drawing at a young age and continued that on through advanced art classes in high school, and onto the Art Institute of Cincinnati after that (only to be a cliche art school dropout). I continued doing art though, mostly commissioned portrait paintings, until I discovered silversmithing. Smithing has been my obsession ever since. I just recently have had the flicker of inspiration to start painting again and after a 15 year hiatus, I’m enjoying stoking the flames of that creative outlet once more. I always have to be making something, that’s for sure- whether it’s a colorful painting or turquoise jewelry- and thank you all for being here with me on this journey!
